Today I am sharing this super cute striped skort! During the school year, I work retail where we have a dress code of black and white. While black and white clothing is easy to shop for, I sometimes dread picking out outfits for work because I LOVE colorful clothing and accessories! That being said, while still adhering to the dress code, I try to make the most out of my outfits by having fun and displaying my personal style through cute accessories, blouses, skirts, and dresses.
I purchased this skort from Dillards a couple of months ago and I am obsessed! I love the concept of a skort in the sense of how that it looks like a skirt in the front but really is a pair of shorts. It is super functional as I am able to run around the store, lift things, and occasionally climb on ladders. All while being comfortable! I also love this simple black shirt! It is super lightweight and because the material is not quite like a t-shirt but also not like a blouse, you have the ability to dress it up or down.

I also paired this look with some block wedges from Sam Edelman. They are the same ones that I wore in this post, just in black! Unfortunately, because they are a year old they sold out and I have yet to find any similar in style.
Tassel Earrings: Here is a similar style!
In addition to fun outfits, I always like to complete my look with accessories! I purchased these super cute tassel earrings from a small store here in San Antonio called Homestead Handcrafts. It is a craft mall were people can rent out booths within the store and sell anything thing that they make from clothing, jewelry, antiques, handcrafts, and collectibles. I love jewelry but I also love supporting small businesses because you always find such unique items!
