Today I am sharing some dupes for Kylie Jenner’s new “KyShadow” The Bronze Eyeshadow Palette!
I follow Kylie Jenner on Snapchat and she seems to be doing very well with her cosmetics company!
I do not really “Keep Up With The Kardashians” (Kourtney is my favorite), but lets have a moment of honesty, Kylie is doing everything business wise that I wish I could be doing at 18. While she has already released her matte lip colors and glosses, on Monday she just launched a bronze eyeshadow palette which sold out almost instantly.
P.S I have a juicy little secret about her lip kits, that could save anyone who is interested in her cosmetics line some MAJOR money. I honestly cringe at every girl that buys here matte lip kits because they are essentially made in same factory/company as Colourpop Cosmetics. (You can read all about that HERE) Let me break it down for you. You could pay $28 for a lip kit with her name on it when you could get the same thing from Colourpop for $6? $12 if you buy the the liquid lipstick and the matching lip liner. So sadly it is all a marketing ploy! Kylie’s new eyeshadow palette is priced on the higher end at $42. Enough of me rambling! Check out some dupes that I found for this palette below!
1) Shaanxo 18 Color Eyeshadow and Lipstick Palette- $11 from BH Cosmetics
I have to say, I was honestly so shocked when I found this one. Apparently this Youtube Beauty Guru by the name of Shaanxo collaborated with BH Cosmetics and released this eyeshadow palette about 5 months ago. Compare the eyeshadow palette part to Kylie’s eyeshadow palette. Shockingly similar! Right? I will say that although this palette has more shimmery colors than Kylie’s (which has more matte colors), that this one is hands down the closest that you can get to Kylie’s eyeshadow bronze eyeshadow palette. And for $11 bucks, you definitely can not beat that. It also comes with a palette of 6 lip colors as well but I did not include a photo of that palette. Interested in purchasing this palette? 2) Lorac Pro Palette 3- $44
How beautiful is this palette? Lorac never disappoints with their eyeshadow palettes! The quality of the shadows is also extremely amazing! While this palette is not an exact dupe to Kylie’s eyeshadow palette, it does have the majority of the colors that are in her palette PLUS more! It is priced at $44 which I believe is a great price considering that you are getting 16 different eyeshadow colors. It also comes with a mini eyeshadow primer which is always a nice addition! 3) Milani Cosmetics Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Collection in Earthy Elements- $9.99
How gorgeous are these colors? Would you believe me if I told you that this was a drugstore eyeshadow palette? While this palette is not an exact dupe of Kylie’s eyeshadow palette, it does have the beautiful bronze shades as well as the orange shade which in my opinion is the color that stands out the most in both of those palettes. 4) Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 Eyeshadow Palette- $12.99
I have never heard of this makeup brand before, but when searching on Ulta.com I realized they they have a lot of dupes of higher end palettes and products that you would find at Sephora. Like the majority of the palette’s that I mentioned in this blog post, this palette is not an exact dupe but it has the majority of the colors that Kylie’s eyeshadow palette has PLUS more. 5) ColourPop Eyeshadow- $6-54
I was hesitant to include these shadow’s in this blog post but at this point I feel like you guys should know that it is really difficult for me to go one blog post without talking about ColourPop Cosmetics! LOL. As you can see in the picture above, I kind of created my own dupe of Kylie’s eyeshadow palette. These ColourPop eyeshadows are sold as singles for $6 which is great for girls like me who are extremely picky and tend to have a color or two that they do not like in a eyeshadow palette. With these eye shadow palette’s being sold as single’s, it allows you the opportunity and flexibility to pick out the colors that you do like.
