Today I am sharing 5 pairs of sunglasses that are super affordable and perfect for summer! Overall, I can definitely say that sunglasses have been my latest fashion obsession this summer! I love how something so simple can tie an entire outfit together and make it look super chic. In addition, in the past I used to struggle with finding sunglasses that look flattering on my face shape. Needless to say, I think that problem is solved!
Personally, I do not like to spend a lot of money on sunglasses because I have a tendency to either be very rough with or misplace them and find them under the seat in my car a couple days later. (OOPS!) With that being said, 4/5 of these pairs of sunglasses are under $15!
How cute are these?! I think that out of all the five pairs featured in this post, that these are my favorite. I purchased them at Francesca’s a couple of days ago for $14 and I am OBSESSED! I think that the rose gold finish is so beautiful and chic and they are definitely not like anything that I own, which I truly love. These are actually the perfect dupe for the Dior “So Real” 48mm sunglassess. I those on Morgan from Rich Kids of Beverly Hills (yes I watch that show! Don’t judge….. its my guilty pleasure! LOL) last year and thought that they were so cute, fashionable, and futuristic. Interested in these sunglasses? You can find them HERE
I found these cat-eyed beauties yesterday at Nordstrom for $12! I think that the tortoise pattern is classic and super stylish. I also think that the dainty gold trim around the brim of the classes is very chic. As far as the shape of the frames, I have never owned a cat-eyed frame because I think can look a tad vintage, but I think these are very cute and subtle! Interested in these glasses? You can find them HERE!
I found these super cute glasses at Nordstrom for $12. I was on the hunt for some round sunglasses and after trying on several round sunglasses, I realized that the one’s that I were looking for were a little too Ozzy Osbourne and not flattering on my face shape. I ended up picking these and I love how the frames are round but are not too harsh. They also have a light blue and silver tint and the frame trim is a really pretty nude blush. I could not find a link to these but if you are interested in these try your local Nordstrom in the BP section!
Back at again with with the tortoise print glasses! I just realized that I own ZERO black sunglasses. … Only tortoise print and metal! My reading glasses are tortoise print too so I guess you can say that I am a little obsessed! Anyways, I found these super cute sunglasses at Francesca’s . These are somewhat similar to the Raybans Erica Classic, that I have also had my eye on but the only difference between the two is the gold accent bar across the nose bridge. I really like these because they are simple but chic! I could not find the link to these exact glasses, but if you are interested I highly recommend that your local Francesca’s!
Last but not least, my beloved Ray Bans! I purchased these about a two years ago and I still love them so much! These were actually my first pair of sunglasses that I bought myself so I basically wore them everyday everyday until I bought the rest of the ones in this blog post. I am not much of a label girl, but I think that every one deserves to own at least one pair of Ray Bans! If you get a classic color and style like mine then you are set for life as they are universally flattering and match with pretty much everything! In addition, much to my surprise my Ray Bans are actually polarized which is great for protecting your eyes from the Texas sun while eliminating that annoying glare. I am not sure what style and size these aviators are as I purchased them at the AAFES Exchange, but I definitely recommend any classic aviator style!
These 5 sunglasses basically make up my entire sunglasses collection but hopefully in the future I will grow my collection for Spring, Fall, and Winter. As I mentioned earlier, in the past I struggled with finding sunglasses that were flattering on my face shape but I have found that best solution is to be open and try on EVERY single pair on as you never know how they will look! Which pair of these sunglasses were your favorite?
PS: On my lips I am wearing Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Scrooge topped with a gloss from Laura Geller.
